Price Hike Paragraph for HSC: A price hike means the cost of everyday things goes up suddenly. It is a big problem in Bangladesh and many other countries. Now people are getting used to it, but it still makes life hard. Food , clothing, and school fees are among the things getting more costly. One factor is inflation, in which case prices gradually increase over time. However, a price increase is different, as rates of price increase are really fast. This is common in Bangladesh since some syndicates—business groups—hide goods to make them uncommon and increase pricing. There are many causes of price hikes, but in our country, syndicates are a major reason. Common people suffer the most from this. The government sadly cannot always stop them. Corruption makes the problem worse. To solve this, we need strong rules to ensure that things are sold properly. The government should take strong steps against syndicates. The rules should be respected, and corruption must be stopped. If products are sold fairly, people won’t suffer so much. Only then can we stop prices from rising too fast.

Nowadays, everything is getting expensive—rice, oil, vegetables, fruits, fish, meat, medicine, and even school supplies. This makes life very difficult for middle-class and poor people. They can not buy the things they need, and sometimes they have to cut down on food or other basic needs. One big reason for the price hike is syndicates. These are groups of dishonest traders who store products and cause a market crisis. They then sell the items at a greater price. Corruption also plays a big role. Some powerful people support these syndicates rather than oppose them. As a result, common people suffer. Inflation is another reason. When the value of money falls, the price of products increases. Besides transportation costs, fuel prices and import problems also cause prices to rise. To control the price increase, the government should take strong action. Strict laws are needed to stop syndicates. Corruption must be removed at all levels. The market must be monitored on a frequent basis. If necessary, the government can open affordable shops for the poor. In conclusion, price hike is a big problem in our daily life. It must be controlled for sake of the people and the country’s future.
